Removes dead silo entries whose last known update precedes `beforeDate`.

### Parameters

- `beforeDate` (`DateTimeOffset`): The exclusive upper bound for the last update time of entries to delete.
- `cancellationToken` (`CancellationToken`): A token which cancels the operation.

### Returns

A task representing the cleanup operation.
